The above picture was made using Macromedia Flash. I would have used Photoshop (which is made for still images), but I don't have it.
At any rate, the purpose of the picture was more-or-less to express visually who I am. The hand at the top is the hand of Jesus/God. The red rays on the right represent how he died and "atoned" for the sins of the world. The blue ray on the left represents the "new life" (as well as eternal life) that one finds in choosing to follow Jesus. The blood drops falling from the hand represent my own acceptance to follow Jesus.
The objects contained in the 2 golden rays represent 2 of the biggest blessings God has given me: home/family and education. I do not take these things for granted.
One of the central focuses of the picture, however, are the elements in the center. The objects in the center form a "U" shape. These objects depict my talents/abilities. For instance, the 5 staff lines denote my musical talents, and the paint brush represents my artistic abilities (creative imaginiation, Flash skills, etc.). The pointer finger of God is depicted as giving me these gifts. I believe my artistic abilities to be a gift from God. However, the arrow pointing back upwards represents that I freely dedicate my gifts back to Him. Thus the "U" shape.
